Minutes Board of Water Commissioners June 8, 2009
Those attending: Mark Vincent, Emily Beebe, Steve Gazzano, Jean Schaefer, Lori Vanderschmidt, Dan Wexman
Steve Gazzano agreed to check references for the Resident Engineer candidate Doug Bellum.
The group discussed the Draft Board of Water Commissioners Work Plan developed by Steve Gazzano.
The feasibility of a contest for the art work for the Water Tower was discussed. Lori Vanderschmidt is responsible for developing a task list for the proposed art work.
The cost of connection/installation fees will be reviewed by Jean Schaefer. Mark Abraham will consult on the matter.
Mark Vincent is responsible for reviewing the White Water contract for operating the water system. The contract is lapsing. He will discuss this matter with White Water with the possibility of renewing the contract for one year.
A meeting to discuss the water project loan/grant at the USDA office in Wareham is planned for June 24th at 1:15 PM.
